The petrol price hike

Heard the news when i was in Klinic Ikhwan ( locum la tu.. ) thru SMS. Starting 12 midnight tonite , petrol will cost 10seen more per liter. Waahh!!! Again ??? Well , this clearly shows that our country's economy is not as how they boast it in the media. It is true that the government is subsidising quite a substancial amount but with the recent price increase ; it clearly shows that the country can't cope with the financial burden !!!

In Malaysia , we are still lucky that petrol is not as expensive as Indonesia and Thailand. The main reason being the government freely bailing us out ; for the sake of rakyat they say. Well, we have to grow out of the subsidy mentality and be more matured about it. Intelligent politics they say. Well, i suppose Malaysians will have to be more responsible and some how not to expect everything comes free and convenient. I suppose the globalization aura is getting stronger and stronger. events such as this are alarm bells especially for us , the Malays.. bumiputeras to really think hard aboout what we have now and how easy it can just go away..

Locum today ? midweek ? Well.. i was replacing the clinic's boss as he is currently sick.He was admitted to Ampang Puteri today for an unknown illness. Hmm..kesian , the clinic staff were like looking for doctors to replace him otherwise they will have to close the clinic until Dr.Omar is well. I spoke to Boss over the phone , he sounded really sick..really really sick. Just had an MRI done early evening and i;m praying for his health.

I will be oncall again today. haks.. i'll bring my camera into the OT ..heks.. who knows i might get some good pics of the HKL OT for your viewing !!

p/s well , dont know whether i should join the rush to the petrol station before mdnite..
