The hard real truth Asia Cup 2024

We just had our first match yesterday. I stayed up to watch this game as I reckon it should not be missed. The hype around the team was good a d I guess everybody would have loved a fairy tale story for our Harimau Malaya.Hari ni oncall koyak!! Mengantuk gile😆😆
Unfortunately we lost 4-0. The media in a way is starting to bash them and coach KPG. He did play a weird formation yesterday - the gamble did not pay off as expected. Honestly, we were unlucky to concede the first 2 goals. The first was a long rsnge curved show which was world class. Gile top corner. I dont think any goalkeeper could have saved that one. Another was a soft penalty conceded.. and via VAR. According to our asian standard, takde nye penalty but yeah it was a bitter moment to bite.
Physically we did try to challenge then but what was obvious was the speed of the Jordanians. Hence the continuing struggle against middle east team is still there.
We have 2 more games- tougher games. Against higher ranking teams - Bahrain and the mighty south korea. Please bros.. play your best! Takut jadi whipping boys of Asia Cup 2024.

Harimau Malaya’s mission in Asia Cup 2024!

If one reads on my posts over the years, you could see how much my passion is for Harimau Malaya. Whenever the games were played in Malaysia, I would definitely try to go to the stadium for the games! Support boh jangan tak support!

Alhamdulillah, after 40 years plus we have qualified via merit for this year’s Asia Cup edition. True we were last in the tourney in 2007 where we were joint host - but we were the whipping boys then.

The current team looks quite good and in their games under our Squid Games’ coach we have earned the respect of peers in the asian continent. Players are all decent- of course having “warisan” and naturalised players can be fairly controversial but as mentioned by Dato Hamidin, FIFA allows this hence why should we not utilize it to increase the performance of our team?

I am truly excited to see Harimau Malaya in action. They have the potential to be Asian challengers and I am confident with the current moral of the team.

Kemon Malaysia!!

A different kind of anniversary

Last year, 10/1/23 was the date when the formality of separation my wife ex being confirmed by the syariah court. Mind you, It was a totally new experience going through the process in real time with real syariah lawyers and judge. I had some funny moments too which became my "tell the tale" session
to those who wanted to know what happened. Being in court is not something I reckon anybody would like to experience. But been there.. done that!
The one thing that I never knew about court proceedings is you would be sitting and waiting your turn inside the court - at the same time seeing other proceedings happening with the judge. Its interesting how the judge exerts his presence and we can see how he is trying to be just and fair to all. Most importantly, he has to act in such a way to justify it to god.. Imagine a judge of syariah court, salah judging masuk neraka weh.. haha

How has it been so far? Of course a bit odd initially between me and the MDQs, more so then the introduction of another mother and then their own sibling! But I must say Alhamdulillah, Allah is great. He knows best and yes the best planner. I could not have asked for more as things have gone way beyond what i was prepared for.

I honestly pray what is best in life and health for my ex wife too. May she find happiness and be contented with it. What I have done and experienced with her in my 19 years of marriage is part of my life story. I cherish all a lot and that can be seen from my blog posts in the past. A mixture of emotions and feelings.  I have no regrets nor any reservations - things happen for a reason.

Do i wish things were different? I suppose there were junctures of things could have been dealt better but senanglah cakap retrospectively kan? No point looking back ; only forward now and the best of life that can offer :)

A review of New Year resolutions

Every new year, everybody will be drawn into making new year resolutions. It is only on next year’s 1st January we might make a review whether the aspirations were achieved. The more kiasu ones will review it before the 1st of the new year lah. Not me obviously😆

As far as i can remember, I have always had weight reduction as my new year’s goal. Every year haha I guess its the ongoing battle between my real pastime of eating and ensuring Im not overweight for health reasons. I am a foodie - I enjoy food very much but perhaps at the age I am now, Ihave to thread carefully. Becoming obese is something I dont want to but it is very difficult to maintain the discipline.

I managed to balance my caloric intake and maintain a good weight of below 80kgs 10 years ago when I was in Perth. I was able to exercise as hard as I eat. Nowadays especially back in KL now and me leaving quite far away from my working place, it is almost impossible to find time to do my runs. I had the dream of doing the ironman but unfortunately that goal is still unreachable. Friends of mine have managed to do it and achieve envious level of fitness. I’m sure I can do that too with my basic level of fitness from before but time is definitely my enemy.

So must find time? Yes.. I really have to. For my health and also my family. Writing this down would be a good start to remind myself my priorities for 2024.

2024.. Bring it on😊

My first post for the new year! I’ve been occupied with more CABGs that came about celebrating 2024 haha.
Semoga tahun baharu 2024 membawa kesejahteraan kepada semua from the Mafeitzs😆

P/S Whatever Langkah there maybe😆
