SPM Result 2025- Qaisya 9As!! Straight!!

  

Super proud of you MYRA DURRATUN QAISYA. Who would have thought but you certainly deserved it as I saw how you really put your mind and effort towards it all year round. Well done and Of course I have to post this to be one of my 2025 highlights :)

Kids and their ramadhan

Alhamdulillah, I am proud that my 3 elder MDQs have succeeded in their full fasting this year. Tak sangka that they managed to breeze it through without any glitch. I must be thankful for wifey who day in day out ensuring the kids are well fed during sahur and iftar. Its not an easy task to wake them up at this age and get them to eat! 

I am amazed my Marissa, despite being 6 he pulled through chill je. takde mengada2. haha But knowing her, she has this different inner strength. A strong girl inside out. Qaisya, i guess did it this year due to Marissa. Both are best friends but i do sense a bit of competition amongst them. So far cam ok la tak tau in the future haha Qayyum? Well, he was known to have cheated before but this year i guess he has grown up a bit. I don't know lah if in school he cheats.. haha 

 The younger 2? haha Well i guess its best for them to wait. Most importantly for them to see all of us doing this ritual everyday and perhaps would remain in their memory banks as a wonderful experience.

All in all, i do not force my kids to fast. Solat is more of priority. Having to coax them for maghrib and isha jemaah is easier at this stage as when they grow bigger,it can be an issue when they can say no. Fasting is not a priority at this age, I even encourage them to discontinue their fast if they are too tired and exhausted. It is a good practice for the soul and one's inner self, to be able to resist all temptations and persevere. An important trait to survive life. I guess fasting in Ramadhan is a good training ground for the young. When they are older, it will not be about training but iman and abiding the fourth pilar of Islam. 

Kids in PABKL 2015

I brought the kids to PABKL and i guess this was their first time in the biggest book fair in Malaysia. Honestly, I have not been to one voluntarily for the past 10 years, except a few times when we were brought by the book vendors for UiTM library purposes. This time around, Diagnosis2 team had a book signing session for our fans. Why not bring the kids to see what is happening out out there.

 It was jammed packed. I guess this is how it has been for so long that i did not even bother to come and attend. Parking is crap, everything is wrong for the big crowd but nothing beats the atmosphere of 10 thousands of people in the massive crowd! Especially PWTC.. How can you beat the experience in PWTC? This was the first time too there were here, so i brought them to see the potraits of our previous prime ministers. 

We had fun.As the kids looked for their own reading materials, as usual Qaisya has always been keen to fill in her inquisitive brain. I wished we could have spent more time and i was thinking of coming again but fate had it that i was to go somewhere else! (will be revealed in the coming post).

Happy birthday to my 1st daughter Qaisya!! Many happy returns!
The little girl who is growing slowly but surely, the one with a distinct personality which amazes me how great Allah Almighty is.
She can be grumpy and self centered, but she is smart and intelligent.
She knows what she wants and what she can achieve.
Insha Allah, my dear.. you will be what you want to be :) 

Weekend intensive swim

Usually on weekends wifey will be bringing the kids for swim class with teacher Dory. A regular saturday afternoon stint which started from Qayyum when he was 2 and until now the full MDQs entourage including Dzulaikha. Unfortunately last weekend, wifey was keen to attend  a few courses that it took the whole weekend from dusk til dawn! I was available however as this weekend was booked for no call. 

Qayyum will be entering the under 10 MSSS 50m freestyle. I registered him through the school because i thought they will do the regionals/

 MSSD first before the real thing. This is his first competitive swimming and he is not used to 50m straight! Takmau la malu kan last.. so kenalah training sket.. haha  It had been an intensive week for him as he goes to the pool everyday. Drilled by teacher Dory. And this weekend, teacher Dory is not available as well. 

Since I am available, i became the takde tauliah coach to follow the drills which was organized by teacher Dory. haha Mmg takde tauliah but i could see that the regime is for obtaining stamina. 

I'm not expecting him to win anything but i want him to experience the feeling of competition. Having those butterflies in the stomach and try one's best to perform. I want him to feel and go through that. The exposure is important as this will be what life is about. Being amongst the many and thriving to do well. I prefer the life lessons for them as a preparation to face the real life. 

I was a proud father on that day

I wished i could be there  but i couldn't. Seeing the pictures was enough for me but i hope to be able to make it to her prize giving day next year. This year it was too ad hoc that it was not possible at all to squeeze in my time to attend. I knew she was smart and this is an encouragement for her to thrive better. It is also a motivation for qayyum as we never knew that there was prize giving day after all.

She is brilliant

I must say i am proud of Qaisya for her achievement in her exams. For SRA, She is the best student being the one with the highest mark for all of standard one. In SKBJ, She is first in her class and 4th overall! Hoyeee... I reckon if she was to improve in her arts, she would be no 1 hahaha I guess, she picked that bit from both of us. Art has always been the subject that brought my marks down when i was in SMTTDI.

Well, for Qayyum i am sure he has the potential but being a boy, i don't expect him to excel that much. I am happy with his performance especially with his social skills. I was quite surprise to note that he as the class monitor for both SRA and SKBJ. Well, looking at how he brings himself he is very popular and friendly :)

SMKTTDI Qurban 1434

I guess once you have kids who are growing up, you wanna show  and teach them everything that you know off. Especially the exposure about life and the community. I believe nowadays, kids tend to be indoors and indulge with the digital world rather than being out there. Its a shame that modern technology has changed this. Of course, the sense of security has alerted a lot of families to keep their children indoors.

Since i took part in the school qurban, i brought the four of them to my alma matter for the qurban. Every year without fail, Ustaz Ahamd will organize a big scale qurban for the kids in school to experience it. It can be fun but at the same time dangerous. And it is this that i hope to let my children experience. 

                                           KARESMA

Im sure the elder 3 would have found the exposure interesting as they tried to get close to the process each time a new cow was selected. KARESMA's was bulky and it showed how wild it can be! hahaha The element of danger and the teamwork showed by the Qurban team was amazing. Together, putting the big cow down and then perform the qurban was amazing. Our cow even rose and went to another part of the field after everyone thought it had died! hahaha 

 I wish i was exposed to this when i was younger. I do hope the children will appreciate this activity and for them to ponder when they grow up.

Eidul Adha with the family

Both of our families are in KL, so far there has never been a time this was an issue. I could go to both in the same day, its just that perhaps it has been a while since we last slept in TTDI.

We spent the raya night in DJ, and i guess ita the kids that make such festivities alive. Having all 5 growing up together can be fun and stressful at times. Their antiques will certainly blow you away and you would forgive them easily.Ayman was around so i guess he would himself appreciate the presence of 5 young kids running around here and there. I can't imagine when he is old enough to play with the rest

 In the afternoon, we were off to TTDI as it was promised that way. The menu was BBQ raya and a cake was prepared to celebrate Doya, Mutee and Mikochi. It was fun to have them around and i could not understand why Mutee was not there. He has finished his studies and i thought we should be seeing the more of him. 

 It was a simple affair but meaningful. I did not have my raya celebrations this year and what transpired this time around was enough for me. Insha Allah, with more rayas to come, the kids will grow and appreciate the gatherings as how i missed the mass gatherings we had in Muar when i was younger.

Wow.. all 3 of them. I am thankful to Allah for his blessings, for me to have my 5 kids. All of them with different personalities.. and i must say it has been fun so far to see them grow up.

Together for two weeks

The meaning of being lonely transpires when you're reminded of what you have and how fast you can lose it.That makes you appreciate it more and I'm glad I have my family!
It was a relief, having wifey & kids with me in Perth. Wifey needed the break after her struggles of handling life with the kids without me back home. I never realized how it was as important to me until they arrived. I picked them up at the airport that morning, and seeing my children ran to me, calling my name certainly put tears in any parent's eyes.
It was certainly a hectic 15 days programme as I try as much bring them around Perth and ensure all of them having the fun of their life! Its quite interesting that i managed to bring all of them to the attractions on Public transport! (only to the south west i had to rent the MPV).
And to send them back on christmas eve was something hard for me.Seeing Dzareif with his antiques, Qaisya growing and becoming confident, Marissa as ever obedient an Qayyum a big boy now; something i replay everyday in mind.

Sports day n birthday

Once you have children, whatever they do especially in the early years matters so much and takes priority. Nothing they do is not insignificant and you live to witness this moment : to enjoy and savour it as its always them who makes everything that you do worth it.

It was again Salsabiila Sports Day and both Qayyum and Qaisya are involved. I'm pretty confident about Qayyum especially after his surprise last year but with Qaisya, we're always sceptical whether she can perform when asked to.

Qaisya was involved in an event where she was supposed to start the race. However as soon as the whistle was blown, she freaked out!! hahaha she just went beserk and cried! hahaha we thought so this would happen.. i tried to coax her to try, and with force she was pushed on the small tricycle but of course, she did it in her upmost disgust! hahaha.. i managed to video the went beserk moment.. classic!

Qayyum did well in his events and we are very proud of them..

Later in the afternoon, we celebrated Dzaeff's 5th birthday at home.. small scale but it was a surprise to him! I'm sure he will remember this ultra-birthday indefinitely! :)
