Meng's wedding 22/11/14

In a way, it was a rushed affair. I was never involved in any discussion about the wedding and hence the solemnization. In fact, the date of confirmation was super late that it was possible that i could not attend it because of being oncall! It was not possible to change my oncall rota because Fatma booked the date earlier for her SIL's wedding on that day as well! I was hoping for luck and Alhamdulillah, the case which i had to do ended at 4pm.
Meng (my younger brother) & Lily decided to have their solemnization ceremony in Masjid Tuanku Mizan or fondly known as Masjid Besi in Putrajaya. Apparently, this is the place where a number of celebrities had their solemnization here. For eg Sheikh Muzaffar the astronaut. For whatever reason, it was definitely better for me as if i was fated to be called, then it would be not that far to travel to my hospital. If it was held in Batu Pahat (where Lily came from) I was to definitely miss it.

Initially it was a bit confusing as there was no definite communication about where to properly assemble. The turn out was good thus making it easier for us to identify our group after Isya'. It was good to see everybody there and the support is tremendous. Meng will be the last of us to be married and i was happy to see him happy!
                                          Meng getting ready
                                          wefie before the nikah
There was a bit of scare before the nikah, got everybody guarded! Haha Alhamdulillah, as this was in JAWI's jurisdiction, it went on smoothly without any glitch. In fact i am waiting to see the video because there was one part when a boy fell off accidentally into the pool when the kadi asked for any objections by anybody before he proceed! Haha kalau ada malaysia's funniest home videos im sure it will be in running for the grand prize!
                                          MDQs with the newly weds
Congratulations Meng for your catch! And may this unity bring you to jannah :)
